Just some administrative matters:
Sign the waiver for people who are 18 yrs old and above
Have you waiver signed if you're under 18
Fill out your personal info sheet for your Spiritual Director (which is in MVP 211) and place it in my pigeon hole (also in the room)
For those who are asking for retreat assistance, please e-mail a request letter to my add: julie_alberto_77@yahoo.com. Prepare P1700 for retreat. It covers lodging, food and and transportation. Bring it on day of retreat OCTOBER 15
Some Reminders
Please be at Xavier Hall, October 15 @ 12:30PM (hope you have eaten lunch!)
Bring: -Bible -journal and pen -toiletries -clothing for 3 days -jacket or sweater -towel -special medication -slippers -anything that would help you in prayer (ex. art materials if it would help in reflection)
Person to room ratio is 1:1
Start disposing yourselves to silence and prayer even for just a short time. We should prepare ourselves for the experience
Since this is a Silent Retreat, there will be no talking, communication, even eye contact. The only time that we can talk is when we have our sessions with our Spiritual Director each day. The point of the silence is for each one of us to be alone with our God.
Cellular phones will be surrendered before the retreat starts. We will provide a contact number to your parents should they need to contact you.
Do not bring things that would hinder you in prayer. If you really want to bring your mp3 (though this too is a bit discouraged), please just fill it with liturgical music.
We will be given points for our prayer. We hope that we can remain faithful to them. If you feel that you need a more focused subject, you can approach your SD for a different set of points.
